about me
My name is Bailey! I'm one of the many twenty-something's with a desire to see the world but not quite enough money to actually do it. So, I'm teaching, reading and traveling when I can.
When I graduated from college in 2015, I moved to China thinking I’d never look back. And then almost a year later, I found myself back in the baggage claim of Logan airport thinking, “well, shoot.” Fast forward a year later and I’m back in Logan, this time in departures headed for South Korea, this time certain I was leaving for good. Two years later, I found myself back in baggage claim realizing, once again, that was not the case.
Though things certainly haven’t gone as planned, I don’t think I would have done anything differently. If nothing else, all of the packing, moving and settling in that I have done since I graduated from college, has shown me just how many potentials life actually has.
Moving abroad again, changing careers, going back to school, leaving everything for life in a van - my head constantly swirls with all of the different possibilities, choices and adventures that could be my next step. This blog is a way to get those potentials out of my head, organize them and make them more presentable. But mostly, it’s the books I read, the food I eat and the adventures that I go on while I figure out which potential actually sticks.
